Leslie Toney aka “Tone”, was born in the Bronx, NY. He was musically inclined, and very entertaining at a young age. As a young child he would perform singing, dancing, and rapping. Successfully winning talent shows, performing at multiple street fairs, and events in clubs. His interests in hip hop/rap begun in the Bronx, NY. In the early 80’s. Inspired by artists such as The Furious Five, Fantastic 5, Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Rock Steady Crew, and The Cold Crush 4 just to name a few. It was the business aspect of it all that motivated him. He began to research, and investigate what it would take to start his own recording label. In a short period of time his determination, and drive awarded him with the knowledge to move forward in starting a business. My first indie label was Mo'Spice Productions. The company wasn't successful, but taught me a great deal about the music industry, and how it works. After going through a learning experience in starting Mo'Spice Productions. "The music business was all I wanted to learn, and do. My reward from it all is now CEO/President of B-New Entertainment LLC". Tone want to give the new, and young artists of today.
